Diane Follingstad, Ph.D., Faculty Associate
Diane Follingstad, Ph.D. is a faculty associate at the Center on Trauma and Children. She is also the Director and Endowed Chair of the Center for Research on Violence Against Women and a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Kentucky. This appointment follows her career as a Distinguished Professor Emeritus in Clinical and Forensic Psychology at the University of South Carolina. She currently holds the Diplomate in Forensic Psychology from the American Board of Forensic Psychology and was awarded Fellow status in the Psychology and Law Division of the American Psychological Association. Dr. Follingstad has been a past-President of the ABPP Forensic Psychology Board and a past-President of the South Carolina Psychological Association. Her Ph.D. was awarded by the University of Colorado. Her experience ranges from being a forensic expert, an academician, a researcher, an administrator, a professor and practicum supervisor, as well as a practicing clinician.
