The mission of the Lewis Honors College is to better the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the world by helping students to explore their purpose, develop intellectually, and lead with integrity.
Donors contributed 3,539 gifts for a total of $2,644,378, including a $1.75 million transformative gift. This year’s digital giving day more than doubled the first year’s total. Gifts came in from 47 states and the areas receiving the most gifts in three categories (large unit, small unit and programs/centers) topped the “One Day for UK” leaderboards.
University of Kentucky Office of Nationally Competitive Awards has announced chemical engineering senior and Lewis Honors College member Skyler Trenton Hornback is one of 2020’s 56 recipients to be awarded a scholarship of up to $15,000 from the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation. Established by the Mercury Astronauts, the foundation's goal is to aid the U.S. in retaining its world leadership in science and technology
As today’s Wildcats don different types of masks and visors to stay healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic or even use masks to continue to sing as part of the university’s musical theatre certificate program, one class of University of Kentucky theatre students is studying the use of masks in the creation of characters.
