The University of Kentucky is a great college to work for, according to a 2021 survey conducted by Modern Think. For the fourth consecutive year, the university has been recognized by the research and consulting leader in the work environment.
This is the second straight year UK has achieved Honor Roll status, recognized for creating an exceptional work environment in nine total categories:

A report on our 2021 results will be available soon. You can currently view our 2020 report. The survey results are based on a two-part assessment process: an institutional questionnaire that captures employment data and workplace policies from each institution, and a survey administered to faculty, administrators and professional support staff. The primary factor in deciding whether an institution received recognition is the employee feedback.

"The leadership is transparent even in difficult situations and involves the faculty and staff every step of the way. There are checks and balances with shared governance, and no one person is able to hold power for an extended amount of time in most councils and decision making platforms. But most of all, my dean and associate dean allow me to use my specific skill set to shine. I am able to do what I love and what I am good at, so I enjoy my work. If something is not working well, we are able to negotiate that with each DOE meeting that is held annually in the spring. Our comments and concerns are heard and changes are made based upon them."
