The University of Kentucky’s Martin Luther King Center & Center for Graduate & Professional Diversity Initiatives is excited to cordially invite you to save the date for our 5th annual Sister Circle Forum: EmpowHER. The forum is a full-day conference experience designed to create a space of belonging, growth, and community for students, faculty, staff, and community members who identify as women of color through interactive workshops, poster presentations, and a dynamic keynote address, conference attendees will. The 2022 Sister Circle forum will take place at the University of Kentucky on Friday, February 25th.
Additionally, if you are interested in leading a workshop session during this year’s forum we encourage you to submit a program proposal as well. Proposals are 50 min interactive sessions that are connected to one of the Forum’s three sub-themes: Glow Up, Grow Up, and Show Up. Applications are due by Wednesday, December 22nd, 2021 at 5:00 pm.
