Heather Bowling DNP, APRN

Heather Bowling is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who completed her Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner training at the University of Kentucky. She completed her first Bachelors of Science at Purdue University, attended the University of Tennessee – Knoxville for her accelerate BSN, and finished her education earning her DNP in acute care pediatrics at the University of Kentucky. She began teaching in the College of Nursing as a teaching assistant during her time in her Doctoral program. She currently teaching NUR 540 Health Care Systems from an Interprofessional Perspective. Dr. Bowling continues to provide patient care as a pediatric nurse practitioner in Indianapolis, IN at Riley Hospital for Children. Her practice as a pediatric nurse practitioner is within the department of anesthesia as a part of an acute pain service team.
