Holly Chitwood DNP, APRN, FNP-C, AGACNP-BC

Dr. Chitwood began her career as a staff nurse in the field of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology with Kentucky Children's Hospital in 2006. She earned a bachelor's of science in social work from the University of the Cumberlands in 2001. She completed an associate degree in nursing at Eastern Kentucky University in 2006 and a bachelor's degree in nursing from Eastern Kentucky University in 2014. She completed a master's degree in nursing in 2015 at Lincoln Memorial University, a post master's certificate at the University of Kentucky in 2017 and a doctorate in nursing in 2021 from the University of Kentucky. Dr. Chitwood is a board certified family nurse practitioner and an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner and currently practices as an APRN at the Markey Cancer Center, Medical Oncology.
