Jennifer Sherwood earned a B.A. in Family Studies at Messiah College and an M.A. in Counseling from the University of Maryland. She has worked in various settings both as a mental health professional and as a program coordinator. She has been with the University of Kentucky since 2004, where she worked in the Targeted Assessment Program for almost 13 years as a Targeted Assessment Specialist. For about four years, she also worked with Asbury University students through an off-campus organization. She is now the Academic Advisor for Pre-Nursing students at The University of Kentucky’s College of Nursing.
On a personal note, Jennifer is married and has two daughters, Lizzy and Madison. The girls are both seniors, one in college and the other in high school. She loves all things Border Collie. She has one (almost 15) and an Australian Shepherd puppy.
