National Theatre Live is coming to the University of Kentucky this fall!
The Office of Lifelong Learning has partnered with the Department of Theatre and Dance, the Gatton Student Center Cinema, the Office of Community Engagement and the UK Opera Theatre to bring these productions to UK.
Each broadcast will be shown at the Gatton Student Center (160 Avenue of Champions) in Worsham Cinema complete with 4K Digital Projection and 60-Speaker Dolby Atmos Surround Sound.
Tickets for each performance are now on sale through the UK Ticket Office.

National Theatre Live: Antony and Cleopatra, Encore Screening: Sunday, September 15, 1 p.m.
Caesar and his assassins are dead. General Mark Antony now rules alongside his fellow defenders of Rome. But at the fringes of a war-torn empire the Egyptian Queen Cleopatra and Mark Antony have fallen fiercely in love. In a tragic fight between devotion and duty, obsession becomes a catalyst for war. Director Simon Godwin returns to National Theatre Live screens with this hotly anticipated production, following previous broadcasts of Twelfth Night, Man and Superman and The Beaux’ Stratagem.

National Theatre Live: Frankenstein, Encore Screening: Thursday, October 3, 6 p.m.
Childlike in his innocence but grotesque in form, Frankenstein’s bewildered creature is cast out into a hostile universe by his horror-struck maker. Met with cruelty wherever he goes, the increasingly desperate and vengeful Creature determines to track down his creator and strike a terrifying deal. Directed by Academy Award®-winner Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, Slumdog Millionaire), Frankenstein features Benedict Cumberbatch (Hamlet, BBC’s Sherlock) and Jonny Lee Miller (Elementary, Trainspotting) alternating between the roles of Victor Frankenstein and his creation.
