Dr. Michael Stanaitis Returns to the Patterson School
The Patterson School is delighted to announce the return of Dr. Michael Stanaitis. Dr. Stanaitis received an M.A. from the Patterson School in 2009. Since that time, he earned Ph.D. in International Relations from American University in 2017. In addition to this appointment, Dr. Stanaitis is a Professorial Lecturer at the School of International Service (SIS) at American University, where he teaches classes in international relations theory and quantitative methods for the online graduate program. His research focuses on international political economy, particularly the Great Recession and its implications for theories of global trade openness. Dr. Stanaitis will be teaching the Patterson School's DIP 777 Research Methods course in Autumn 2018.
