Whether you are new to exercise, or ready to switch up your normal routine, there are various options so that you may benefit the most from an Equipment Orientation within one of our Certified Trainers! Choose from any of the following options:
Complete Fitness Center Orientation
Learn about the ins and outs of the facility, beginning with the Cardio and Selectorized machines on the second floor and finishing with the Free Weights and machines on the first floor. This orientation is perfect for someone who is new to our facilities, or who wants to expand their horizons and branch out from their usual workout spot
Cardio Equipment Orientation
This orientation will walk you through how to use common cardio equipment found at the Johnson Center so that you can maximize your workout and utilize all features of each piece of equipment
Functional Equipment Orientation
Working out to ease the strain of everyday life places on your body? This orientation will walk you through all of the functional equipment our facilities have to offer (Plyo Boxes, Kettebells, TRX, and the Life Fitness Synrgy station) and some common exercises that can be done to improve functional fitness
Barbell/ Free Weight Orientation
Ready to get into weightlifting or switch up your current routine? Look no further? This orientaton will walk you through the downstairs weight room including Squat Racks, Platforms, Benches, Dumbbells, Kettlebells, Free Weight machines, and exercises you can do to take your fitness to the next level
Selectorized Weight Machine Orientation:
Want to target specific muscle groups? Learn how to use various selectorized machines to do so! This orientation will walk you through how to use machines like the Leg Extension, Prone Leg Curl, Leg Press, Lat Pulldown, Chest Press, Cable Machine and Ab machines to name a few

If you are interested in a FREE Equipment Orientation, an appointment is required. You can request an orientation by filling our a request form HERE and a member of the Fitness staff will be in touch promptly.
