This regulation describes the Board of Trustees' process for appointment of the President and outlines the composition of the joint search committee. It defines the criteria for faculty and staff positions that must be appointed by the Board of Trustees and those that may be appointed by the President, as well as those that must be reported to the Board of Trustees. It also provides the policies and procedures for acting appointments and search committees for the Provost and chief administrative officers of educational units, and establishes the terms for department chairs and directors.
