Assistant Director of The Study

Christie Maier currently serves as the Assistant Director for The Study, overseeing the administration of The Study’s Peer Tutoring Program. Christie joined the team in January 2015, starting as the Program Coordinator, and brought with her extensive experience in peer leadership and a passion for student success. Christie holds a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University and a M.Ed. in Student Affairs and Higher Education from the University of South Carolina.

Jared Hrabcak
Teaching Assistant for The Study
Jared currently serves as the Teaching Assistant for The Study, assisting in the administration of The Study’s Peer Tutoring Program, GRE Prep Seminars, and management of Tutor Matching Service (UK's private tutoring marketing place).

Teaching Assistant for Supplemental Instruction
Emily currently serves as the Teaching Assistant for Supplemental Instruction (SI), assisting in the administration of The Study’s SI Program and GRE Prep Seminars.
Student Program Coordinators
Student Program Coordinators (SPCs) are experienced tutors who have been promoted to a leadership role with the Peer Tutoring Program at The Study. SPCs supervise the tutoring floor, manage a team of tutors, and assist with a secondary responsibility related to the administration of the program.

Dr. Molly Reynolds
Executive Director
Dr. Molly Reynolds is the Executive Director of Transformative Learning. Before serving as the Executive Director, Molly served as the Faculty Fellows & Student Tutoring Coordinator at Presentation U! and a Faculty Lecturer in the Division of Instructional Communication and Research. Molly completed her PhD in 2013 and has focused her teaching and research on interpersonal and instructional communication, first year student success, faculty development and curricular support, and peer tutor training and development. Molly’s passion for teaching has been recognized through the Outstanding Professor of the Year by Fraternity & Sorority Affairs in 2014 & 2015.
Chance Davenport
Analytics & Assessment Director, Transformative Learning
Chance Davenport is the Analytics & Assessment Director for Transformative Learning. Chance joined the Transformative Learning team in May 2015, and is responsible for the assessment of Transformative Learning’s programming and services. Chance holds an M.A. in Communication (foci in Interpersonal and Instructional) from the University of Kentucky and a B.A. in Communication, minor in Spanish, from the University of Kentucky.
Program Coordinator
Loretta Stafford is the Program Coordinator for Transformative Learning. Loretta started with Transformative Learning as an undergraduate marketing intern from 2015-2017, transitioning into the Program Coordinator position in 2019. She received her Bachelors in Integrated Strategic Communication from the University of Kentucky in May of 2017.
