Regional Airport Shuttles
Are you planning to fly home -- or anywhere else -- during academic breaks?
Transportation Services offers free airport shuttles to Blue Grass Airport (LEX), Louisville International Airport (SDF) and the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) at the start of Thanksgiving, Winter and Spring Breaks. We also offer free return trips from the airports to campus on the Sundays before school starts.
Students who register to take a free airport shuttle will need to use the campus Blue or White Routes to get to Kroger Field on the day their shuttle departs. The Blue and White Routes operate from 6:45 a.m. to midnight Monday through Friday.
If you need to catch a 6 a.m. airport shuttle from Kroger Field, (which is earlier than the Blue and White Routes start running), UK Transportation Services will pick you up and transport you to Kroger Field. See this page for the 6 a.m. pick-up schedule, as well as return shuttle pick-up locations at each of the airports.
Sign-ups are now available for the 2020 Spring Academic Break.

If you're travelling during times or dates when free airport shuttles are not offered, consider signing up for Ride Amigos, a free web-based ridesharing program offered through UK Transportation Services. Learn more about the program here.

Regional Airport Shuttle service will continue as planned on Friday, March 13. As you know, the University of Kentucky has made a decision to suspend in-person classes for two weeks following spring break with the goal to resume normal course delivery on Monday, April 6. Please read the University’s full announcement here.
UK Transportation Services remains committed to transporting airport shuttle riders back to campus on Sunday, March 22, if they desire to return as originally planned. We realize that your travel plans may understandably change as a result of the University’s announcement. To ensure that we can plan transportation resources accordingly, we ask that you email or call us at 859-257-7202 with any transportation needs you have from regional airports back to campus.
