Late Night Transportation
Transportation Services is dedicated to the safety of the University of Kentucky community. There are multiple services to help ensure that students and employees can get safely across campus and town.
One such program is Kentucky Wildcab. Kentucky Wildcab offers rides around campus and the high-demand surrounding areas. Simply download the UK Wildcab app from the iOS or Google store and request a ride!
Another option is the On-Demand Shuttle that runs throughout the week from midnight until 5 a.m. This free, on-campus service is a great option for students or employees who are studying or getting off work late at night. Students and employees can call 221-RIDE (7433) to request a pick-up.
Campus buses also run well into the evening. The campus Blue and White routes run from 6:45 a.m. until midnight and are completely free! The Yellow Route also runs on Saturdays and Sundays from noon until midnight. (These routes do have reduced hours during academic breaks.)
SafeCats is yet another on-campus, late-night service. SafeCats is run by the UK Police Department; read more here about this safety program.
