Transportation-Related Changes Over Spring Break
With the onset of spring break, UK Transportation Services will adjust parking and transportation-related services to reflect the needs of the reduced campus population. Decisions regarding service levels during the subsequent two-week suspension of in-person instruction following spring break (Sunday, March 22, through Sunday, April 5) will be communicated in the coming days.
Campus Bus Routes
The Orange Route (UK Healthcare) will continue to run on a normal schedule. However, the weekday campus Blue, White and Green routes will operate on a modified schedule from 6:45 a.m. to 6 p.m. beginning Monday, March 16, through Friday, March 20.
The weekend Yellow Route will not be in service on the weekend of March 14-15 or on Saturday, March 21. It will resume on Sunday, March 22, operating from 9 a.m. to midnight.
Kentucky Wildcab & Paratransit
Kentucky Wildcab will not operate on Friday, March 13, Saturday, March 14, or the following Thursday, March 19 through Saturday, March 21. Weekday Paratransit services will also not operate during spring break, Monday, March 16, through Friday, March 20.
Parking Permit Control Changes
From Saturday, March 14, through Sunday, March 22, all employee lots will remain controlled for permits as normal. Most student parking areas will require any valid permit with the following exceptions: R2, R7, R17, R18, R19, R29, R30 and R34, which will remain restricted to lot specific permits only. All lots will resume normal enforcement beginning 5 a.m. on Monday, March 23. Please refer to individual lot signage to confirm control times
