Semester Break Parking
Please Note: Campus parking and transit services have been adjusted as a result of the University’s response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and the subsequent modifications to campus operations and academic instruction. Please visit this page for up-to-date information.
Parking enforcement changes in some lots and structures over the summer months and during academic breaks. However, even when lots are not controlled for permits, they are still monitored for other parking violations, such as parking in fire lanes, parking on yellow lines, and unauthorized parking in ADA accessible areas.
Please take a moment to review the following information regarding parking on campus during the upcoming Thanksgiving break.
Thanksgiving Break Parking Control
The 2019 Thanksgiving break is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 27, through Sunday, Dec. 1. Campus lots will be off control on Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29. However, football gameday relocation policies will be in effect beginning on Friday, as there is a home football game scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 30. Lots return to normal control on Sunday, Dec. 1.
Special Event Parking During Breaks
If you have a special event on campus during the academic breaks over over the summer months, please contact Transportation Services' Special Events Coordinator to arrange details. Event organizers should make arrangements at least two weeks in advance in order to secure the most convenient parking for their attendees. Event parking is determined on a first-come, first-served basis. Visit our special events parking page for complete details.
