|Permit Application Dates|
|June 1 - June 14||Accepting residential permit applications from returning students. Apply in person, by mail or online.|
|June 7 – June 21||Accepting commuter permit renewal applications (permit you were issued for 2016-2017) for C5 and C7* permits. Apply in person, by mail or online.|
||Accepting residential permit applications from all eligible students. Apply in person, by mail or online.|
||Accepting commuter permit applications from all eligible students. Apply in person, by mail or online.|
||Accepting applications from all eligible students for C-BCTC permits (BCTC only), C16** permits, K permits, off-peak permits and remote permits. Apply in person, by mail or online.|
||Express pickup begins. All online orders must be picked up in person at Transportation Services.|
||Online sales end. Permits may only be purchased in person at Transportation Services.|
*The C7 areas are changing to the designation C9. Those who had C7 permits in 2016-2017 may apply for C9 permits during the renewal period. C9 permits will be valid in any of the three C9 areas: the Scott Street Lot, the Taylor Dickey Lot, and the Reynolds Lot.
**The former C8 areas are now known as C16. This includes the Track Lot and the Shively Lot.
|Permit Enforcement Dates|
|August 1||R2 and R7 permits valid for use in designated areas.|
|August 7||Summer control of Greek Lots end. Lots restricted for designated permits (R11, R12, R14 and R15).|
|August 11||Campus-wide summer lot control ends and all summer permits expire.|
|August 12||All 2017-2018 student permits are authorized for use in designated areas.|
|Student periphery (K) lots and remote (X and R19) parking areas are not controlled for permits.|
|August 14||Green Lot restricted to E-BCTC and C-BCTC permits.|
|August 23||First Day of Classes
Valid permits are required to park on campus and within designated lots.
|Parking Permit Refund Information|
You may return your permit to our office before classes start for a full refund.
If you graduate, withdraw or no longer need your permit, you may return it to Transportation Services for a partial refund. Permits may not, under any circumstances, be resold or transferred to another individual. Permits belonging to individuals no longer enrolled or eligible will be be deemed invalid and deactivated.
If purchased with a credit card, refunds will be issued to the credit card; if purchased by cash or check, a check will be mailed within 2-3 weeks of the refund request.
Permit prices and refunds are pro-rated on a monthly basis.
