Student Permits Calendar - Fall 2018

Note: Dates tentative and subject to change.

All times are noon.

Permit Application Dates
June 4 - June 13 Accepting residential permit applications from returning students. Apply in person, by mail or online.
June 7 – June 20 Accepting commuter permit renewal applications (permit you were issued for 2017-2018) for C5 and C9 permits. Apply in person, by mail or online.
June 14 - until supply exhausted Accepting residential permit applications from all eligible students. Apply in person, by mail or online.
June 21 - until supply exhausted
Accepting commuter permit applications from all eligible students. Apply in person, by mail or online.
July 9 - until supply exhausted Accepting applications from all eligible students for C-BCTC permits (BCTC only), K permits, off-peak* permits and remote permits. Apply in person, by mail or online.
July 16 Accepting applications from all eligible students for C16 permits. Apply in person, by mail or online.
August 13 Express Pick-Up begins. All online orders must be picked up in person at Transportation Services.
August 24 Online sales end. Permits may only be purchased in person at Transportation Services.

Permit Enforcement Dates
Year-round Valid R17, R18, R29 and R30 permit required to park in designated lots.
August 1 R2 and R7 permits valid for use in designated areas.
August 10 Campus-wide summer lot control ends and all summer permits expire.
August 11 All 2018-2019 student permits are authorized for use in designated areas; Greek Lots (R11, R12, R14 and R15) restricted for designated permits.
August 11 - 21 Student periphery (K) lots and remote (X and R19) parking areas are not controlled for permits.
August 13 Green Lot restricted to E-BCTC and C-BCTC permits.
August 22 First Day of Classes
Valid permits are required to park on campus and within designated lots.
Parking Permit Refund Information

You may return your permit to our office before classes start for a full refund.

If you graduate, withdraw or no longer need your permit, you may return it to Transportation Services for a partial refund. Permits may not, under any circumstances, be resold or transferred to another individual. Permits belonging to individuals no longer enrolled or eligible will be be deemed invalid and deactivated.

If purchased with a credit card, refunds will be issued to the credit card; if purchased by cash or check, a check will be mailed within 2-3 weeks of the refund request.

Permit prices and refunds are pro-rated on a monthly basis.

*** Students may park without a permit in K areas of Kroger Field August 11 - August 21. PERMITS ARE NOT REQUIRED DURING THIS PERIOD. Permits ARE REQUIRED beginning August 22, 2018.
