L. Clark Williams

Leon “Clark” Williams is the President of the Ed Brown Society - a nonprofit that prepares students for career opportunities in the thoroughbred industry and beyond. He is also the Managing Member of Progression Strategic Solutions - a strategic planning and public relations firm.
Additionally, Clark is an ordained minister, with extensive experience in church ministry. He also brings banking, and federal and state government experience into this area of service.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Gatton College of Business and Economics at the University of Kentucky, a Juris Doctor degree from the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville and a Master of Theology degree from Campbellsville University.
Throughout his career, Clark has advocated for socio-economic opportunities for all through various platforms, including his ongoing service as a board member of Lexington For Everyone and as an Executive Committee member of Black Faith Leaders of Lexington. He is married to Jennifer Hamilton Williams, an educator in Fayette County Public Schools, and they have one daughter.
