Ms. Myra Leigh Tobin obtained her Bachelor of Science from the University of Kentucky; a Master of Arts from Ohio State University; and her Master of Business Administration from New York University. 

Until her retirement in 2002, Tobin was the managing Director of Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. in New York. She was the Senior Vice President/Casualty Officer of Marsh & McLennan Companies; Vice President of Marsh & McLennan Companies; Assistant Vice President of Marsh & McLennan Companies; and Senior Account Representative of Marsh & McLennan Companies.

Tobin was a junior research analyst at Goldman Sachs in New York before coming to Kentucky. While in Kentucky, she became a researcher for the Kentucky Department of Commerce in Frankfort, Ky. In Washington D.C., Tobin was the Office Staff Assistant to Congressman William H. Natche.

She was the President of Kentuckians of New York; former Chairperson for the Board of Directors of the National Choral Council in New York; former President of the University of Kentucky Alumni Association; former President of The International Alliance - a network of executive and professional women. She was Chairperson of the Board of Trustees for First Presbyterian Church in the City of New York; former President of the Financial Women’s Association of New York; founding Board member of the New York Women’s Foundation.

Tobin was the recipient of the Rotary Foundation Fellowship for Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. She currently serves as a Community Advisory member for the Investment Committee.
