Lizzy Hornung, from Louisville, Kentucky, received her degree in Biomedical Engineering in spring 2024 from the Pigman College of Engineering. She will attend the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in the fall of 2024. Lizzy served as the UK Student Body President 2023-2024 and was involved in multiple organizations including: Tri Delta, Phi Delta Epsilon Pre-Medical Fraternity, UK Cheerleading Team, and served in other roles in Student Government.

Lizzy campaigned on promoting student voice and access to student resources. During her term leading the student body, bolstered the many services offered by the Student Government Association to maximize their reach on campus, as well as focus on increased advocacy for students to the university administration.

Lizzy continues to be a champion for student interests, always focusing on how to make the student experience at the University of Kentucky as great as it can possibly be.
