Jewell Hall Closing
Residents of Jewell Hall will have to move out of the residence hall by Jan. 14. Jewell is scheduled to be demolished as part of Phase III of the Housing Revitalization project. A Kentucky Kernel article has more details. A FAQ document (PDF) is also available.

Laundry Service Changes
UK washers and dryers have adopted a new system called WaveRider. WaveRider is a wireless credit/debit card payment and account management system that allows for a secure and convenient method of paying for use of laundry facilities. More details are available on the Undergraduate Housing FAQ page.
Graduate and Family Housing
Graduate and Family Housing is pleased to announce their new single student opportunity for housing: UK has signed master lease with University Trails. The apartments are 4-bedrooms, 2-bathrooms, kitchen, dining area, laundry room, and living room. They are fully furnished. Appliances include refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. A flat screen television is provided in the living room. All utilities are paid and include cable television and Internet (Wi Fi) in every room! Amenities include ceiling vans, swimming pool, hot tub, game room, computer/study room, basketball court, and tennis court. The price is $475.00 per bed.
