Campus Neighborhoods
Graduate & Family Housing is an internationally diverse community that consists of several apartment living communities. These communities are described below.
Linden Walk:
Linden Walk is a small community of efficiency apartments located just off Euclid Avenue. Laundry facilities are not available, but residents can choose to use the facilities located in Cooperstown. Linden Walk is located adjacent to campus. The free Campus bus system serves the Linden Walk Community. Linden Walk is within easy walking distance of several business establishments including a Kroger grocery store, banks, and convenience stores. Linden Walk is reserved for single, international Undergraduate students. The Office of International Affairs must refer students to Graduate & Family Housing.
Rose Lane:
Rose Lane is a small community of efficiency apartments in a quiet neighborhood setting. Laundry facilities are not available, but residents can choose to use the facilities in Cooperstown. It is adjacent to campus. Rose Lane is served by the free Campus bus system. The WT Young Library is within walking distance. A Kroger grocery store and other business establishments are also within walking distance. Rose Lane is reserved for single students.
Commonwealth Village:
Commonwealth Village is a single student community located on Nicholasville Road near Alumni Drive. Residents of Commonwealth Village enjoy a grassy courtyard area complete with volleyball net. Efficiency and one-bedroom apartments are available. A laundry room is provided. The free Campus bus system serves this community.
Shawneetown:
The Shawneetown Apartment complex is located just off Alumni Drive near Commonwealth Stadium. It is within walking distance of the Arboretum in a park like setting. Shawneetown offers efficiency, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. There are a limited number of two-bedroom apartments reserved for families with at least one children. Laundry facilities are available in every building. Shawneetown is surrounded by grassy areas and playground facilities are provided. The free Campus bus service is available for Shawneetown residents.
Greg Page:
Greg Page Apartments are located just off Alumni Drive near Commonwealth Stadium. It is within walking distance of the Arboretum in a park like setting. The Greg Page complex consists of two communities i.e. the Graduate & Family residents and a community of Undergraduate residents. Greg Page consists only of two-bedroom apartments that are reserved for students with at least one-child. A laundry facility is available in Greg Page or residents can choose to use the card-operated facilities in Shawneetown. Greg Page is surrounded by grass areas and playground facilities are provided. The free Campus bus service is available for Greg Page Residents.
Cooperstown
The Cooperstown Apartment community is one of our most popular locations due to its proximity to the WT Young Library. This community is located within walking distance of a retail grocery store as well as other retail businesses and banks. The Campus bus services the Cooperstown community. Efficiency and one bedroom apartments are available in Cooperstown. A laundry room is available in every building. There is a large grassy area with playground equipment and picnic shelters.
