Styrofoam Coolers

Styrofoam coolers and molded Styrofoam packaging can be recycled separately from the mixed recycling containers. Styrofoam is sent to a facility that either resells the coolers or breaks the Styrofoam down to recycle into to new coolers or packaging.

If you have Styrofoam coolers or molded packaging on campus, set aside and contact UK Recycling to schedule a pick up. If your area or department produces Styrofoam on a routine bases, contact UK Recycling to set up a weekly or monthly pickup.
