Want to become an effective leader in your community?

If you are interested in implementing education programs outside the traditional school/classroom structure, this major is for you! This program will prepare you to facilitate educational programming for your and adult learners within communities and organizations. You will also learn to serve as an effective leader, creating connections between community members and leaders/decision-makers. (This major does not lead to teacher certification).

In addition to automatic and competitive scholarships from the University of Kentucky, our students are also eligible for a variety of scholarship awards from the College of Education.

For incoming freshmen the scholarship application deadline is February 1. 

For transfer and current students the scholarship application deadline is April 1.
