Department of Horticulture Professor Seth DeBolt has been awarded a University of Kentucky Alumni Professorship for a five-year period, effective July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2023. Alumni Professorships are awarded to faculty who have been recognized for their influential scholarly contributions, sustained excellence in teaching, and outstanding career or public service. Recipients of this professorship receive a $15,000 annual stipend. In addition to his research, Dr. DeBolt is director of UK's Distillation, Wine and Brewing Program.
