Agricultural and Medical Biotechnology undergraduate student Bridget Bolt has been awarded a CAFE Undergraduate Student Research Activity Award (RAA). Bridget is carrying out her undergraduate research project in Horticulture's Environmental Epigenetics and Genetics Group (Dr. Carlos Rodriguez Lopez). Her research focuses on the contribution of DNA methylation to crops' ability to assemble soil microbiomes. Bridget will use her RAA to cover the fees for her attendance at the World of Microbiome Virtual Conference and the QIIME2 Workshop. Congratulations, Bridget!
