Fall Move-In Dates
Saturday, August 17*: Panhellenic Sorority Recruitment, Wildcat Marching Band, BCTC, International Students
Monday, August 19: Living Learning Program
Wednesday August 21: Big Blue Move-In for Freshmen and Returning Students
August 17*, 19 and 21 are “assisted” move-in days. From 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., there will be traffic control, assistance unloading your vehicle, and the ability to check-out carts. All other move-in days are “unassisted,” meaning there will not be traffic control, no assistance unloading your vehicle and you will need to check-out a cart from the front desk of your residence hall.
For all move-in days, it is recommended that you bring your own cart and/or dolly as well. A limited number of carts will be available to checkout.
Please check with your respective LLP, group, or department to confirm dates, times, and logistics.
New students are encouraged to move in no later than Wednesday, August 21, in order to fully participate in K Week activities.
*An early move-in fee of $25 per night will be charged to students moving in prior to Monday, August 19.

Maps and Directions
We ask that you turn off your GPS as you approach the UK campus and follow the specific color-coded route to your respective residence hall. The WAZE app will be updated with street closures and alternative routes.
Hall Code Card
To assist UK Traffic Control Officers who will be directing you to your correct unloading area, please print the hall cord card that corresponds with your residence hall prior to your arrival at Move-In. Place this card on your dashboard as you approach campus. Hold up the card as you approach traffic personnel.
Once you arrive at the unloading area for your residence hall, you will be asked to unload your belongings onto a table or cart, then move your vehicles to a designated parking area.
