Mr. Michael Hamilton, a junior Kentucky native from Johnson County, is an Honors student and Chellgren Fellow, double majoring in Political Science and International Studies. He currently serves as the Student Government President and the Vice President of Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity. During his time in the Student Government Association, Michael first served as a Freshman Senator and member of the Leadership Development Program, then as a Senator At-Large and Senate President. He was re-elected as President for a second term in the spring of 2019.

During the campaign for Student Government President, Michael and his team engaged with students of all backgrounds, beliefs, and orientations to convey one consistent message: "You Belong Here!" Hamilton is passionately dedicated to improving inclusion and a sense of belonging on campus during his term as President and Trustee.
