While non-exempt and exempt positions are paid on different schedules, the annual salary is the same over the course of a year (26 biweekly paychecks or 12 monthly paychecks).
Employees who transition to a biweekly pay schedule will receive their first biweekly paycheck Dec. 16. This paycheck will be for hours worked between Dec. 1. and Dec. 10. Employees who transition to a biweekly pay schedule because of these changes will also receive a transition payment of one week's pay in December to help make the adjustment.
These employees will receive a full biweekly paycheck Dec. 30.
