September, 2011

• September 5 - Monday - Labor Day - Academic Holiday
• September 14 - Wednesday - Last day to drop a course without it appearing on the student’s transcript
• September 14 - Wednesday - Last day to change grading option
  (pass/fail to letter grade or letter grade to pass/fail; credit to audit
  or audit to credit)
• September 20 - Last day to submit Application for Degree cards to
  receive a December (Fall) 2011 degree. The Application for Degree is
  valid for the term of the request. To apply online go to myUK,
  myRecords, and then Apply for a Degree.
• September 20 - Last day to submit Notification of Intent to receive
  a Fall 2011 degree. The Notification of Intent must be submitted no
  less than 8 weeks before a doctoral student plans to sit for the
  Doctoral Final Examination.
• September 21 - Wednesday - Last day to officially withdraw from the
  University or reduce course load and receive a 50 percent refund
• September 22 - Thursday - Deadline for submission of application
  and all required documents to the Office of Undergraduate Admission and
  University Registrar for change of residency status for 2011 Fall
  Semester

• October 3-November 23 - Monday through Wednesday - Students are prohibited from changing academic majors
• October 10-21 - Monday through Friday - Midterm grading window is
  open. The mid-term grading window will close at midnight on October 21.
• October 15 - Saturday - Deadline for submission of application and
  all required documents to the Office of Admissions for undergraduate
  applicants planning to attend November Advising Conference (including
  registration for spring classes)
• October 17 - Monday - Midterm of 2011 Fall Semester
