UK Alerts

Updated: January 26th at 8:43 am UK ALERT - University Closed Monday, Jan 26

UK closed on Monday, Jan 26. In-person classes canceled. Plan B/designated staff on regular schedule. UK HealthCare open. www.uky.edu/alert

In the interest of the safety and well-being of the campus community, President Eli Capilouto has determined that the University of Kentucky will be closed on Monday, Jan. 26, due to inclement weather.

UK HealthCare facilities remain open and are operating on regular schedule.

In-person activities for students are canceled.

University Plan B (designated) employees are to report to work under the University’s weather policies. Designated employees via remote access should work remotely during Plan B operations. If employees have questions about procedures for their work, they should contact their supervisor.

Out of an abundance of caution, we are asking all faculty, staff and students who can to stay home and off the roads at this time. Road conditions remain challenging, and limiting travel helps keep everyone safe. More winter weather safety tips are available at go.uky.edu/StayingSafe.
