Object of Game
Eliminate players in squares higher than you and move up to the highest square
Basic Rules
- Each person occupies a quarter of the court (players choose at random at start of game) and each quarter of the court either has a 1, 2, 3, or 4
- The ball is always served from the player in square 4
- The ball must bounce one time in the receiving square, then the receiving player must hit the ball into another square
- Bounce the ball between players in the square hitting the ball only ONCE and bouncing the ball into another player’s square
- If a player makes a mistake, then he or she is eliminated or moves to square 1
- The ball must be hit with hands only
- New players start in square 1
- Holding the ball during play is not allowed
- If the ball is touched by an object that is not one of the four players, then the round is restarted
- Interior lines are “in” and perimeter lines are “out”
- Players can be eliminated in the following ways:
- Failing to hit the ball into another square
- Hitting the ball out of turn
- Hitting the ball with another body part other than your hands
- Hitting the ball out of bounds
