Membership

Board Membership: The Women's Forum Board puts out a call for nominations every year to elect new board members. Any UK full-time regular employee, faculty, or staff, may be nominated to the UK Women's Forum Board. A campus-wide election is held annually in the spring, and the elected nominees then serve a two-year term on the board. Board members must attend monthly board meetings and serve on one or more committees including Programs and Engagement, Communications, Sarah Bennett Holmes Luncheon, and the annual conference.

 

Become a General Member: All UK employees are welcome to support the work of UKWF as general members. Members will receive early notification of registration for events and professional development sessions. General members are recruited or self-appointed and may volunteer on one or more committees. If general members choose to serve on a committee, they will meet monthly within their committees and may attend the monthly board meetings.
