Agricultural and Logging Roadway Safety Symposium

AUDIENCE: Research centers, highway patrol departments, state transportation centers, state departments of agriculture, driver’s education departments, injury prevention research centers, ag and logging fleet supervisors, as well as graduate students within the CAR-ERC’s ten-state region: Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, West Virginia, and Virginia.

Students are invited to present

The call for abstracts for student poster presentations is now open. Poster presentations should discuss research related to safe roadway practices within the southeast region. Practices may relate to: education; information dissemination; communication; campaigns; producer and commodity group programs; agribusiness/logging and insurance initiatives; child, youth, and school activities; programs vulnerable populations; and other programs aiming to address the safety of our region’s agricultural and logging roadways. Abstracts of 300 words or less should be submitted here by June 20th.
