Musculoskeletal Health Education

Date:
Thursday, May 2, 2019 (All day) to Saturday, June 15, 2019 (All day)

Ag workers are at an increased risk for developing musculoskeletal conditions due to the physically strenuous nature of their work. In response to this, Western Carolina University in partnership with several agricultural health stakeholders has developed two new online video-based learning series at no cost.

The purpose of the series is to improve access to preventive musculoskeletal health education. Each series takes 30-45 minutes to complete. Participants will learn about common musculoskeletal conditions associated with agricultural work, factors that increase risks, protective/preventive factors to reduce risks, and screening and basic first aid for common musculoskeletal conditions.

The learning series will be available through June 15th, 2019. To learn more follow click here.
