Health for a Change: Assessing Family & Intimate Partner Violence
Intimate partner violence (IPV) can have long-term negative impacts on a person's ability to heal, improve their situation, and health. In particular, IPV are a source of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) that can impact a child for life. In this free webinar, the Center for Women and Families and Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation discuss effective screening and referral services for IPV survivors and their children.

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of the presentation, attendees will understand how to:
  1. Identify how addressing IPV can improve people’s outcomes
  2. Meet them where they are to process traumatic experiences
  3. Recommend and refer appropriate IPV-related services for parents and kids
  4. Participate in a project to quickly screen for IPV and provide a “warm handoff” to IPV experts
