IT Strategic Plan | 22 College/Unit: Office of the Provost Department: Institutional Research and Data Science “Institutional Research at UK could simply not function without the HANA data warehouse, Tableau reporting tools, and other data systems supported by Advanced Analytics and ITS..., we have strong collaborations with other UK teams, particularly the Student Lifecycle Management Services and Product Development Integration Services teams within Enterprise Applications, who we work with to capture andunderstandtheunderlyingdata...” Craig Rudick Action Item 4:7 ITS should continue to collaborate with UK HealthCare. A collaborative relationship between HealthCare Information Technology and ITS is essential for consistency in policies, standards, recommendations, communication, and governance. Collaboration across these areas would provide an opportunity to identify efficiencies and produce savings to the University. Collaboration is essential in the management of projects that impact both areas of the University; such as the establishment, refreshment and maintenance of network infrastructure; data management; IT security; assisting research faculty; and troubleshooting incidents that impact the entire University community.
