Sexual Assault

Statement: 

“We hope the ongoing outreach of the UK Police Department in partnership with the Violence Intervention and Prevention Center and the Title IX Office has resulted in an environment where more people feel supported in reporting sexual assault crimes at UK.  Sexual assaults are among the most underreported crimes on college campuses, and that’s why it’s important we continue our outreach and provide victim-survivors with the resources they need.  We cannot comment on the cases themselves because they are still open investigations.”
