Can Advanced Placement (AP) credit count for UK Core?

Yes. To obtain academic credit for an AP course, the AP course is "linked" with a UK course.  Any UK Core requirement fulfilled by that UK course is thereby fulfilled by the AP course. See the Advanced Placement Chart for more information on specific AP test requirements.
