"I wanted to pass on some information to you in case it's useful for future students starting out in the program. I met with Pat (Kitzman) today and he said it would be a good idea to forward this to you. I am applying for the Certificate in College Teaching and Learning (13 credits). They will accept all of the following RHB courses toward the certificate: RHB 770 (pedagogy), RHB 770 (surviving and thriving in academic culture), and RHB 787 (teaching apprenticeship). There are a few mandatory courses (college teaching and learning, preparing future faculty, and a teaching practicum) but acceptance of all of those RHB credits will enable me to get this while completing the RHB program.
