Major Enrique Smith-Forbes, MOT, OTR, CHT, was recently the keynote speaker for the 2014 Phi Lambda Sigma Chi Chapter Leadership Banquet. Phi Lamda Sigma, also known as the national Pharmacy Leadership Society, promotes the development of leadership qualities, especially among pharmacy students. Major Smith-Forbes, currently a doctoral candidate in the Rehabilitation Sciences program at the University of Kentucky (a collaborative program with Eastern Kentucky University), spoke about his experiences in the United States Air Force and the United States Army, as both a COTA and an OTR. His past duty assignments include Chief of Occupational Therapy at General Leonard Wood Army Hospital and Officer in Charge of the largest Behavioral Health Clinic in Iraq during his deployment. The Leadership Banquet was held on October 21, 2014 at the Hilary Boone Center at the University of Kentucky and was attended by Phi Lambda Sigma Chi Chapter members, alumni members, faculty members, and honorary members
