Greg Pitts, a native of Berea, Kentucky and a graduate of the Eastern Kentucky University Masters of Occupational Therapy program, has been named the National President of the American Hand Therapy Foundation (AHTF). The AHTF is an organization dedicated to supporting research and education for upper extremity rehabilitation. The Foundation awards $20,000 on an annual basis for education and research to grant applicants. Mr. Pitts is past owner and current Clinical Specialist at Kentucky Hand and Physical Therapy in Lexington, Kentucky. He is also currently enrolled in the Rehabilitation Sciences doctoral program, a collaborative program between University of Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky University. Mr. Pitts lives in Lexington Kentucky with his wife Anne Marie and their six children.
