Hello everyone! My name is Alyssa Moore and I am so excited to be one of your college ambassadors this year. I am a Human Health Sciences major on the Pre-Occupational Therapy track with a double minor in Psychology and Health Advocacy and a certificate in Clinical Healthcare Management. I am originally from Louisville, Kentucky and have found my home at UK through the small and diverse community that the College of Health Sciences offers.

In the past, I have been involved in the Interprofessional Healthcare Residential College (LLP) which laid the foundation for the rest of my time here by allowing me to find my passion in healthcare and surround myself with students with similar goals. I then became the Vice President of the American Mock World Health Organization (AMWHO) which focuses on the opioid epidemic in Kentucky and providing relief to those impacted in our community.
