Even though Thomas had originally considered it, then decided against it, then decided to go the CLM track, then eventually graduated in 2020 with an MHA from the University of Kentucky’s College of Public Health, which led to him becoming a health care administrator in South Carolina.

The College of Health Sciences at UK is known as the Gateway to the Health Professions.
There’s no better example of that than Jahvona Pretty.
Demmie Meyers, an alumna of the Clinical Leadership and Management program in the College of Health Sciences, was named a top four finalist for the University's 2020 Outstanding Staff Award because of her role in creating a screening process for UK’s Albert B. Chandler Hospital. The Office of the President and the UK Staff Senate gives this award each year to staff members who have exceeded the expectations of their position.
Research has shown African-American women have disproportionately higher rates of cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk factors compared to their white counterparts. Low-income African American women are at an even higher risk for poor CVD outcomes because of social and economic barriers that make it difficult to attain a heart-healthy lifestyle.
