Hello all!! My name is Sydney Brooks and I am a Sophomore from Northern Kentucky majoring in Human Health Sciences with a minor in African American and Africana Studies. I am studying on a pre-dental track and have many campus involvements. I am an active member of Pre- Dental Society, Undergraduate Student National Dental Association (USNDA), Fellowship of Women in Dentistry, Hues in Medicine, and Black Student Union. I also serve as a mentor with the College Mentors for Kids chapter here on University of Kentucky's campus!

I am very passionate about creating diversity within the healthcare field! In my future career as a dentist, I want to be a voice and comfort for individuals who come from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The College of Health Sciences is a great source of encouragement, education, and opportunity. I encourage incoming freshman to find a few organizations that they enjoy and to attend the events/meetings consistently! Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions!
