The College of Health Sciences (CHS) Diversity Healthcare Program Ambassadors serve as leaders in developing and implementing the Diversity Healthcare Program (DHP). Further, they assist with recruiting Bryan Station High School students and meet with representatives across healthcare disciplines to expand the program and increase awareness of the DHP across the state. Through this work, they assist Bryan Station High School Medical Academy UK Healthcare Scholars in transitioning from high school to college and ultimately into healthcare professions. By providing robust programming, a CHS DHP Ambassador works to increase the healthcare, college, and professional knowledge of UK Healthcare Scholars by helping them with college readiness and career enrichment initiatives.
