We're excited to offer the opportunity for you to join us for virtual restorative yoga and meditation!
Rebecca Serrano, our student success and financial wellness coordinator, will lead us through 60 minutes of restorative yoga and meditation for stress relief and relaxation. As the Student Success & Financial Wellness Coordinator, Rebecca assists CHS students navigate the many challenges surrounding the cost of education and financial wellness. In addition, she is a 200 hour registered yoga teacher (RYT) and certified Koru Mindfulness instructor.
Restorative yoga is a deeply relaxing practice where the student is held in poses for an extended period of time with the use of yoga props. Do not let the lack of props discourage you from participating. During this session we will utilize everyday household items as substitutes. You will want to find a quiet place in your home near a chair or couch. Please have a mat (or something to lay on the floor), a pillow (or 2), towel or blanket, and long scarf/belt available for use in the practice.
