A festive time was had by all this weekend in San Antonio, Texas, where the American Physical Therapy Association's Combined Sections Meeting gathered to congregate and celebrate. 

But it was even more special this year. 

Not only did CHS students present research at the convention, but the College's own Tony English, PT, PhD, was honored with a reception. It was timely for English, as he announced this year he will retire in June. 

Some of the Class of 2023 UKPT students presenting included: Jeff Sykora, Skyler Hunter, Stephanie Brown, Karina Angel, Giuseppe Michelone and Taylor Tuftee.

"Some of the students stepped up and presented when faculty’s flights were canceled or were otherwise able to attend, showcasing their professionalism," said Kara Lee, PT, DPT, NCS, director of clinical education and assistant professor in the Department of Physical Therapy.
