Congratulations go out to University of Kentucky 2000 Physical Therapy Graduate Andrew Alvarez, PT, DPT, MTC, who was recently promoted to Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve.

Alvarez currently works at the U.S. Department of Veteran’s affairs in Louisville and is adjunct faculty in the Bellarmine University Physical Therapy program.

He earned a BHS in Health Administration in 1996, a BHS in Physical Therapy in 2000, and an MSPT in 2001.

Alvarez has more than 22 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, focusing on clinical leadership, outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, manual therapy and health care management.
