What are the most popular? Some of this year's more popular ideas involve mental health and work-life balances.

A recent survey of 1,000 American adults from Forbes Health revealed:

  • 48% want to improve their fitness
  • 38% want to improve their finances
  • 36% want to improve their mental health
  • 34% want to lose weight
  • 32% want to improve their diet

Other resolutions included things like: Making more time for loved ones, quitting smoking, making more time for hobbies, improving work-life balance, and meditating regularly.

So, what's the average amount of time that Americans stick to those resolutions?

Forbes stated that most people keep their resolutions two to three months before they ditch them, with only 1 percent of those who set resolutions making it the full 12 months. Want help to stick to your 2024 goals? Click here
